Panfrica Rally took place from September 21 to 28, 2018 in Merzouga, Morocco. The event was held as a training event validated by the FIM and under the supervision of the Royal Moroccan Motorcycling Federation.

Initially conceived under the concept of an economically accessible test for amateur pilots, it has also become a key event for professionals too. Some official teams such as Sherco TVS Rally Team and Hero Motorsport took part in the race to carry out their tests for Dakar.
